One Team, One Dream
Legacy's Competition Dance Team (LCDT) is an exciting and competitive dance team that performs within the community and competes along the East Coast. The members of the team support the Legacy philosophies as leaders in their schools, communities, and role models within the studio. They are a group of dedicated individuals that are determined to improve in their abilities and entertain audiences with their exhilarating routines.

The LCDT has developed into one of the premier dance programs! They have earned multiple prestigious awards and recognition's, including highest adjudications, overall first place awards as well as numerous special recognition's. Most notably the STUDIO OF EXCELLENCE AWARD, WORLD CLASS TALENT CLASS ACT and SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD, Multiple Title Winners in different age ranges, the STARQUEST APOGEE AWARD for highest scoring performance, and numerous choreography awards. This is just the beginning for this dedicated and talented team.

Legacy School of Dance offers THREE competitive dance team opportunties for children ages 7 through 18. Our ultimate goal is give as many dancers as possible the opportunity to dance while providing a superior dance education.

TEAM OVATION
The OVATION team serves as an introduction to the performing and competitive dance world. Dancers will participate in no more than 2 competitions, working to keep at least one of the competitions in the Richmond area. These dancers will experience being part of a team and working toward common goals in a no stress, fun environment. This talented and energetic group of dancers is hand-selected during the course of the year to participate in this program with an accelerated technical curriculum. Ovation dancers learn valuable skills, such as exploring their individual creativity along with working as a team for a common purpose.
TEAM INFINITE
The Team INFINITE could attend as many as 4 competitions.participate in no more than 2 competitions, working to keep at least one of the competitions in the Richmond area. These dancers will experience being part of a team and working toward common goals in a no stress, fun environment. This talented and energetic group of dancers is hand-selected during the course of the year to participate in this program with an accelerated technical curriculum. Ovation dancers learn valuable skills, such as exploring their individual creativity along with working as a team for a common purpose.
TEAM ESSENCE
The ESSENCE team dancers selected for this team possess great energy and enthusiasm for dance as an art form. They have gone through an in-depth selection process. This passionate group of dancers continuously amazes audiences with fun, original choreography, and risk-taking movement. A superior amount of dedication and commitment is required to maintain the level of excellence of our ESSENCE team. We support our dancers’ growth in a technically challenging atmosphere while creating a safe and fun environment for them to achieve their goals. The relationships that grow through this wonderful experience will last a lifetime. Team ESSENCE could attend as many as 6 competitions.
